As the outbreak of the novel coronavirus continues to spread across the US, more and more people are working from home, staying inside and practicing #socialdistancing.

Unsurprisingly, those who are currently stuck at home (like us) are looking for ways to fill their time. Why not bake? Baking during stressful times is nothing new. Fondly referred to as “anxiety baking”, it offers not only the satisfaction of creating something, but the process of baking can be calming.

We put together five things you can try baking during the age of #socialdistancing. Happy baking!

Scallion Pancake Challah

An item on my baking bucket list. Thinking about taking the leap this weekend.

Skillet Brownies

Chocolate brownies? In a skillet? Sign me up!

Croissants

We can’t go to France right now, but we can bake like we’re there. Voila!

Lemon Blueberry Muffins with a Lemon Butter Glaze

Double-Crumb Crumb Cake

Can you imagine eating this with your morning coffee? Also for lunch and dinner. Don’t judge me.
